The author himself describes his work as an expression of geometry. His works have been exhibited in Monaco (1989), Japan (1994/95), Paris (1998/9). Gregory Piecyk's paintings show a fascination with the art of Hieronymus Bosch and Hans Memling. The inspiration is evident not only in the chiaroscuro modeling, stylistics, but also in the accumulation of narratives. Gazing at his paintings, the viewer picks out more and more of its threads. One can also find quotations from the paintings of the masters, which are peculiarly processed by the artist. His paintings create a new image of the modern world, closely but also humorously observed by the artist.
