She paints charitably for the WOŚP Foundation, among others. Alexandra Lacheta's art is led by an animal motif. The artist renders animal silhouettes in a subtle, somewhat fairy-tale way. She is inspired by nature, which she depicts in both realistic and fantastic ways. She tries to make the animals depicted in her paintings evoke emotions: curiosity, sympathy and even a smile triggered by a pleasant memory or association. When painting portraits of human companions, she focuses on the animal as a living and important being. In doing so, he attempts to create a bond with the viewer to evoke empathy and reflection.
