Biography
A graduate of the art high school in Zabrze (specializing in artistic and applied metalwork). She works in drawing, oil painting, and acrylic painting. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions, including in Zabrze, Gliwice, Pyskowice, Zwardoń, Antonin, and Przygodzice. Winner of several art competitions, including the “Spring Salon” at the Operis Artis Gallery. Her work is inspired by the monumentality of the surrounding world, as well as the transience and aesthetics of nature. Landscape is a frequent theme in her work; she either reinterprets and reimagines the world around her or paints from her imagination, which allows her to communicate with herself. Her paintings are characterized by a rich color palette and expressiveness. Clouds are a frequent motif in her paintings; they have become her trademark and lend her work a fantastical quality. What matters most to her in painting is remaining in the process—the process of creation, the process of internal change, and experiencing, through painting, the process of becoming and achieving the impossible.
