Biography
A graduate of the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. During her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, she received the rector’s scholarship and represented the Faculty of Design at UpComing—an exhibition of the best graduation projects from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In her design practice, she addresses social and environmental issues that concern her, translating them into product solutions. She approaches painting, however, in a strictly emotional way—for her, the visual arts offer a respite from the utilitarian nature of design and a space for unrestricted experimentation with form, the body, and emotions. Her projects have been presented during Milan Design Week—including at Alcova, SaloneSatellite, and Fuorisalone—as well as at the Łódź Design Festival, the Museum of Applied Arts in Leipzig, and during the MAD Design Summer School in Latvia. She was a finalist in the Green Concept Award and make me! competitions, and her work has been shortlisted for the iF Design Award and the Global Creative Graduate Showcase.
