Biography
A graduate of the State High School of Fine Arts in Gdynia-Orłowo. She studied philosophy and art history but did not complete her studies. The knowledge she acquired during that time had a significant influence on her work. Her interest in art theory and her reflections on issues of aesthetics, time, and existence shape her perception of the world and are reflected in the painterly language she employs. In her work, the artist focuses on urban and industrial landscapes. She combines the austerity of architecture with an atmospheric interplay of light and color, creating compositions with a distinctive character. She is currently working on a series of paintings dedicated to the Gdańsk Shipyard—a place with a rich history that, in the artist’s interpretation, becomes a symbol of the city’s constant transformation and rhythm. In her paintings, port cranes take on almost human qualities—they become silent witnesses to time, full of strength yet marked by the traces of the past. The artist strives for a synthesis of form and color, giving her works a character that balances between realism and painterly abstraction. She began her artistic journey with her debut exhibition in 2018 in Stara Kiszewa. That same year, she participated in a group painting exhibition in Kaliszki. In 2023, her works were featured in a group exhibition titled “Gdańsk,” organized at the Dom Zdrojowy in Gdańsk-Brzeźno to mark National Independence Day.
