pencil, paper, 100 x 70 cm, signed p.d.: Robacz 2012

Born in 1976, Robert Robaczewski, known as "Robacz," is an artist from Zyrardow, Poland. His paintings lead the viewer into surreal worlds full of organic forms and symbolic narratives.

He is self-taught. He took his first art lessons from his father, which shaped his sensitivity and attachment to traditional painting techniques.

As a traditionalist, he remains faithful to oil paint and linseed oil. He values precision of detail and classical pencil drawing, which often forms the foundation of his compositions. In his work, attention to technique, chiaroscuro and the carefully constructed structure of the painting is evident.

His works have been presented at numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, including in France, where they have been appreciated by audiences sensitive to symbolic and surreal painting.
