Born in Krakow, He currently lives and works in the village of Modlnica near Krakow
He is a graduate of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. The main themes in Maciej Urbaniak's work are nudes, landscapes and still lifes. Maciej Urbaniak'spaintings are full of color and decorative, painted in a system of mosaic rigor.
The paintings resemble tapestries through their unusual texture. They are painterly visions woven with great sensitivity, a sense of harmony and color.
