A very rare bank parcel on the auction market - 2 crowns 1917 stamped "Deutschösterreich".
After the collapse of Austria-Hungary, an ephemeral state called the Republic of German Austria was established.
Its monetary circulation included stamped banknotes issued by the Habsburgs, on which the face value was also given in Polish. Hence, the offered crowns should also deserve special attention of Polish collectors.
An incomplete package - 97 banknotes. Numbers one by one (missing ...694, 695, 696)
Banknotes in excellent condition, a few pieces with corner imperfections. With the whole package folded, visible rust stains on its edges.
Definitely recommended!
