A set of 8 beautifully preserved banknotes from the 1944 Lublin issue, reprinted from the original plates in 1974.
The set includes the following denominations: 50 groszy, 1 zloty, 2 zlote, 5 zlotych, 10 zlotych, 20 zlotych, 100 zlotych, and 500 zlotych.
All banknotes are in mint condition, with the following exceptions:
- The 10 zlotych note has a crease along the upper right edge;
- The 100 zlotych note has creases along the left and right edges;
- The 500 zlotych note has a crease along the left edge extending into the printed area and along the right edge.
The Lublin-issued banknotes were put into circulation by a decree of the Polish Committee of National Liberation (PKWN) under the name of the as-yet-nonexistent National Bank of Poland on April 12, 1945.
