Fritz Heidenreich (Mähring 1895 - 1966 Selb) German ceramic designer and sculptor, employed at Rosenthal from 1919 to 1960, including as director of the art department in Selb from 1946. Beginning in 1934, he mainly created animalistic figures. However, his artistic activity did not end with sculpting wild animal figures. The artist sought new ways to express his sense of form. His most famous work is "Scalars," for which he was awarded the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937.
