ARTIST ABOUT THE SCULPTURE:
"The Element is ceramics fired in a Hungarian kiln. It is a form of outdoor kiln, the temperature of which reaches approximately 1400 degrees celsius. The work is colored in a natural way, it is the effect of firing, the effect of the title element of fire, which colors each ceramics in a different way. That is why the sculpture is a single, unique piece. The form represents a geometric abstraction. The main idea is the idea of slight disturbance of symmetry in spatial form.
BIO ARTISTS:
Marek Malottki (born 14.02.1998 in Wejherowo) Student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, majoring in Sculpture, graduate of the Complex of Art Schools in Gdynia Orłowo. In his sculpture he is interested in figuration, especially portrait. All the time looking for new materials and solutions. For over a year he deals with ceramics, in which he changes his thinking by one hundred eighty degrees. In ceramic realizations, he appreciates the simplicity of form, abstraction and maximum simplification, which could be subsumed under geometry. He is interested in both classical and alternative firings. His works have been included in many group exhibitions. In 2017 he was the winner of the National Review of Art Schools, where he won an index to any artistic university.
