Marta Zauniūtė
Handwritten letter from Marta Zauniūtė, sent in 1919 from Tilžės to Vilniai, to Marija Piaseckaitė-Šlapelienė's bookshop. The letter discusses issues related to the bookshop, publishing or distribution of the press. The document reflects the links between the cultural figures of Lithuania Minor and Vilnius and the dissemination of the Lithuanian press at the beginning of the 20th century. Marta Zauniūtė (Martha Saunus) was a cultural and press activist of Lithuania Minor, a bibliographer, and the sister of the Lithuanian Foreign Minister Dovas Zaunius. She was actively involved in the Lithuanian press and culture.
