[Lublin]. Map of the City of Lublin. Prepared by the Planning Office of the Lublin City Council. Lublin 1931. Published by the Polish Society for Local History, Lublin Branch. B. Wierzbicki and Ska Printing House, Warsaw. Color print, sheet size 58 x 47.5 cm, folded [and:] Index of Streets in the City of Lublin, p. 8, State Printing House in Lublin; [both items:] 16.5 cm, paperback edition.
A highly detailed map of Lublin reflecting the changes that took place in the city after Poland regained its independence, including newly laid-out streets and annexed districts, as well as the sewer system and wastewater treatment plant. In addition to a street index, the brochure also lists major hotels (Europejski and Wiktoria), state and municipal institutions, hospitals, schools, churches, banks, and cultural institutions. Minor tears in the map at the folds; otherwise, in very good condition.
