Polish Aviation Helmet Zsz5A (Zashchitnyy Shlem Avtomaticznyj) with oxygen mask KM34D2 (Kislorodnaya Maska). A helmet of Soviet origin, after Polish refurbishment, used in the Polish Army. This particular piece was given directly to the auction by the owner who flew on it (female pilot). The set in its original cover with the owner's initials visible (KS). Helmet used in the Polish Army until 2010 on the Su22 MIG29 or TS11 machines.
Spring-loaded windshield lowering mechanism, activated by a small pyronaboy initiated electrically when the catapult sequence in the K36 series seats is activated.
