Katarzyna Rekiel, born 1982, received her diploma in painting from the Faculty of Arts at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin in 2006. For many years she worked as a technician at the conservation of monuments in Warsaw and
Lublin region. She currently paints portraits and nudes. She works mainly in pencil and dry pastel techniques on paper. Her works have found their place in many homes in Poland and abroad.
