Biography
An architect by training, she has been a professional painter since 2021. Represented by Heart of The Tribe Gallery (Glastonbury, United Kingdom). Olga Pietruszka’s work is characterized by deep contrasts and chiaroscuro, as well as a limited color palette (Payne’s gray, beiges, white). The main theme of her work is nature, particularly the sky, misty landscapes, dramatic mountain peaks, and seascapes. The artist’s paintings are emotional journeys and stories that evoke a range of feelings in the viewer. Heavy storm clouds, mist-shrouded mountain peaks, or delicate reflections of light on the crests of waves are, in a sense, the language of these stories, transporting the viewer through equally extreme emotions. Behind the expressiveness of Olga Pietruszka’s works lie her personal stories and difficult life experiences.
