Literature
"The painting "Pioneer Women" is inspired by the figure of Alicja Dorabialska - an outstanding Polish physicochemist and the first woman to receive the title of professor at the Lviv Polytechnic. Her story became a starting point for considering the fate of women who were the first to blaze trails in various fields - science, art, technology or social life.
"Pioneer Women" is a story of courage, determination and strength of spirit, but also of setting sail alone into wide, unknown waters - where there are still no footprints of other feet, only the horizon and one's own intuition.
The painting is a tribute to all women who first dared to cross the boundaries set for them by tradition, social norms or institutional constraints. It is also an invitation to reflect on how much we owe to those who went before us - quietly, with determination, often in the shadows - but always with a vision of a better world."

Biography
Her main technique is acrylic paint, but her artistic expressions go far beyond a single medium. In addition to painting, she moves in the world of drawing, photography, music or sculpture. She uses these diverse forms to express herself, as well as to dive deeply into human emotions, which are her main inspiration. Her art oscillates around the surrealism trend and fantasy art.
When creating, she draws on her imagination. In her own words: "I imagine worlds and stories on the borderline between reality and dream. I look for answers to the question of what would happen if evolution took a different course, if our world was constructed differently, if the definition of life was different. Exploring these different paths is like a treasure hunt journey for me."
Felka's works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Poznan, Warsaw and London.
