Łukasz Patelczyk (Wejherowo 1986 - lives in Warsaw and Bydgoszcz) - graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, received his diploma in 2012 in the studio of Prof. Teresa Miszkin and the studio of Prof. Witoslaw Czerwonka. In painting, he combines two orders: landscape and geometric abstraction. He superimposes geometric figures on the landscapes he paints, sometimes only dots or lines, which, according to the artist, are a testimony to the presence of man, his interference in the environment. Art collectors and critics appreciate the artist's imagination, consistency and high-class technique. Patelczyk is the winner of the special prize of the 2011 Artistic Journey of Hestia competition and the 2015 Bielska Jesień Painting Biennale - the prize of the editors of "Notes For 6 Weeks", the winner of the first place in the 2020 Young Art Compass ex aequo with Agata Kus. Lukasz Patelczyk's works are among others in the collection of the National Museum in Gdansk.
