An impressive Silesian thaler of Emperor Leopold I, struck at the Oppeln mint.
Below the eagle on the reverse are the initials F–N, referring to Franz Nowak, mintmaster of the Oppeln mint from 1699 to 1705.

An imposing, broad coin featuring highly impressive iconography characteristic of the later issues of Leopold I. Well-preserved details of the emperor’s portrait and the elaborate coat of arms on the reverse.
