Biography
Hanna Parchanska is a Katowice-based artist. She studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. She paints about emotions, and being human. She doesn't make smooth and pretty pictures, she relies on firm handling of colors and strong contours achieving the characteristic effect of chaotic layers that intermingle and cross each other. She is inspired by sunsets, the brutalism of the city and bodies of water.
