Biography
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He was a student and assistant to Józef Pankiewicz. He lived in Paris from 1924 to 1929, where he was a co-founder of the so-called Paris Committee. From the 1930s onward, he worked in Poznań. He painted primarily landscapes and portraits, as well as nudes, under the influence of the Fauvists and Expressionists. His medium of choice was oil painting. A solo exhibition of the artist’s work was held in 1932 at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
