Soldier, painter, world champion in shooting (1932 Lviv), 6-time Polish champion, Olympian, amateur painter. In 1939 he defended Kepa Oksywska , as commander of an armored train. In the prisoner of war camp in Neubrandenburg, he studied painting with M. Szyszko-Bohusz. In retirement he devoted himself entirely to painting.
