Offset lithograph, 60 x 43 cm (recycled paper), very limited distribution (number of pieces unknown). Signed: “Image by Banksy” (in print). Unframed.
An original Banksy print titled “Save or Delete” for Greenpeace. Produced in 2002 on recycled paper. This print was originally commissioned by Greenpeace to draw attention to the problem of global deforestation as part of the “Save or Delete” campaign. The image, featuring the main characters from Disney’s “The Jungle Book,” was superimposed onto a photograph of a devastated forest and was intended for use on posters, billboards, and postcards. Although it was printed, it never entered circulation due to legal threats from Disney. The original was sold for 78,000 pounds on January 11, 2011, at Bonhams auction house. Most of the prints were sent for recycling.
