Born July 1, 1931 in Zawiercie. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Graphic Arts Department of the Katowice branch, where he received his diploma in the studio of Prof. Rafał Pomorski in 1958. He has been a member of ZPAP since 1960 (ID number: 5018). He was a founder of the "Group 66" group of young artists. In 1957-1959 he was graphic editor of the Silesia publishing house. In 1958-1992 he was the manager of the Provincial Cultural Center in Katowice. He cultivates painting and applied graphics. He has exhibited his paintings at home and abroad, including: - National Exhibition of Young Art, Sopot, 1965 (third prize), - XII National Painting Competition named after J.
