The Głębocki family originated in Greater Poland - they were recorded as early as the 15th century. Then they settled in Kuyavia. Representatives of this family served, for example, as chamberlain of Brześć Kujawy. One of the branches settled in Ukraine - in Podolia and Volhynia (Michał Czajkowski "Sadyk Pasza" was related to the Ukrainian Głębocki family). Zdanowskis h. Pomian are recorded as a family that originated in Sandomiersk.
It is possible that there was a Brześć kujawski chamberlain named Stefan, but he is mentioned only in one source ("Kondolencya na pogrzebę JMP Stefan Głębocki podkomorzego brzeskiego kujawskiego, przez herbowne róże JMP Jan Radojewskiego", listed in the Catalogue of manuscripts of the Library of the National Institute Im. Ossolińskich. However, it is possible that this is a mistake - the chamberlain of Brześć was Serafin (d. ca. 1715/1720) and Bartłomiej.
