Peter C. Kowalski (1951), Untitled, 2013

115 x 73 cm, own technique

Born in Mieszkow near Jarocin. Diploma in painting, in the Studio of Prof. Stanislaw Teisseyre, in 1978 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan.
Painter with many years of experience and achievements. Author of many oil paintings. He also created paintings in other techniques. He was and is open to surprising experiments, breaking the prevailing canons and our habits, also giving up the personal gesture of the artist, sanctified in the tradition of painting.
Until 2021, he taught X painting studio at the Faculty of Art Education and Curatorial Studies, at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznan. Currently, he no longer paints pictures, but lets the paintings "paint" themselves.
