Henryk II KOSSOWSKI 1855 - 1921
Sculptor, pupil of his father, Henryk I Kossowski (1815 - 1878) and Marceli Guyski (1830 - 1893). After graduating from the Cracow School of Fine Arts, he studied in Paris (with Mathurin Moreau, among others). He exhibited in Paris and Vienna, as well as in Warsaw, Lviv, Krakow. He became famous for his highly popular sculptural genre motifs and portraits, executed in bronze, terracotta and patinated plaster.
