Biography
Graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture and Spatial Activities at the University of Arts in Poznań, where she studied from 2011-2016. Professionally affiliated with her alma mater, she currently serves as an assistant in the 1st Sculpture and Surrounding Studio led by Dr. Rafał Kotwis. Repeatedly awarded for her creative achievements - she won the Grand Prix in the Spatial Forms category of the Sixth Review of Young Art "Fresh Blood" at the Socato Gallery in Wroclaw (2016), first place in the competition for the concept of an art installation "People of Ice" at the Siberian Memorial Museum (2019) and the Gustav Seitz Prize during the Polish-German figurative sculpture plein-air "Encounters" in Trebnitz (2019). She has received scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Minister of Science and Higher Education and the City of Poznań. In her work she deals with organic form in sculpture, inspired by what is corporeal and connected to nature. She seeks a language of sculpture that can express ephemeral and changeable phenomena. Her objects, inspired by ancient stone architecture, lead her towards softness, organicity and delicacy. The arrangement of forms created by the artist invites viewers to enter between the objects and explore the space delineated by them. She actively participates in artistic life, taking part in symposiums, plein-airs and artist residencies, including the International Art Exhibition A-21 in Osaka (2016). Major solo exhibitions include: "Sculptura Sensibilis. On Capturing Experience," a doctoral exhibition at the Szczur Gallery in Poznań (2024), and "I Think to You," in duo with Max Radawski at Pani Dom in Poznań (2025). She also participated in significant group exhibitions, such as "Labyrinth. Geometry without Meaning" at the Center for Polish Sculpture in Oronsko, Poland (2025), "The night tales" as part of Art Week Poznan at Pop Culture Gallery (2025), "Petra Genetrix" as part of the 12th TIFF Biennale of Photography Zapatrzenia at Krupa Gallery in Wroclaw, Poland (2023), and "KOLEKTYW_UAP-DROUGH FRIENDS" as part of the Łódź Design Festival at Art_Inkubator (2023).
