Obv: The Archangel Michael standing, holding the sceptre and globus. Sigla: ὁ Ἀρχ(άγγελος). Border of dots.
Rev: Inscription of seven lines, a cross above: τὸν Μιχαήλ με, Μιχα[ὴλ] θεῖε, σκέποις Μακρεμβολίτην Δουκικῆς ῥίζης κλάδον. Border of dots.
Translation: Saint Michael, protect me, Michael Makrembolites, offshoot of the Doukas line.
