Spanish silver casket - Year V of the fascist era MCMXXVII , with dedication to RANIERO PAULUCCI DI CALBOLI

of rectangular shape resting on horse feet, the larger sides decorated respectively with the profile of Miguel de Cervantes (known to be the author of the novel Don Quixote de la Mancha) flanked by putti with cornucopia and with a noble coat of arms also flanked by putti, the smaller sides with floral decorations. Hinged lid topped with a banded agate on the inside of which is the following inscription: "TO THE FIRST FASCIST AMBASSADOR - THE MARCHESE - RANIERO PAOLUCCI DE CALBOLI - THE ITALIAN COLONY DE MADRID - YEAR FIFTY - MCMXXVII". The lower part signed "JUAN JOSE - ARTEFICE - MADRID - 1927".
