Figure of the emperor captured on the march, wearing a flared cloak and applied hat; under the cloak a uniform and orders are visible. In his right hand-bent at the elbow-he holds a folding telescope, his left arm lowered; above his hand the handle of a sword is visible. On the base at the feet of Napoleon - a skull. Signature on the base: J.E. MASSON / FRANCE. (The spade head is missing).
