Maksymilian Novák-Zempliński (Warsaw, 1974; lives in Warsaw) studied at the Faculty of Painting at the European Academy of Arts. He received his diploma in 1999 under the guidance of Prof. A. Fałat and Prof. A. Sadowski. He works in easel painting using oil and acrylic techniques, illusionist painting, and, occasionally, sculpture. His works are highly popular and can be found in many collections both in Poland and abroad. The key to his success may lie in the atmosphere evoked by Novák-Zempliński’s paintings and the technical perfection that characterizes his works. Zempliński paints using the techniques of the Old Masters and places great emphasis on the final effect and the finish of his canvases.
