Bas-relief by sculptor and educator Edward Sitek, graduate of the A. Kenar State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane, he studied art in 1959-1965 at the Department of Sculpture of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk, he became professionally associated with his alma mater, leading the Department of Sculpture and Drawing, since 1994 a full professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He most often created in stone, mainly in marble, as well as in wood, bronze and ceramics, participated in numerous exhibitions: 16 individual and more than 50 collective, his works can be found in the National Museum in Gdansk, the Center for Contemporary Sculpture in Oronsko, the Museum of Medallic Art in Wroclaw and in Polish and foreign private collections. Very good state of preservation, natural signs of use consistent with the age of the object, possibility to hang.
