Biography
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He worked as a teacher at the State High School of Theater Techniques in Warsaw and at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. From 1960 to 1972, he regularly exhibited at the Graphic Arts Biennial (International since 1966) in Kraków. He participated in numerous other group exhibitions in Poland and abroad and held many solo exhibitions. He was active in the Association of Polish Fine Artists (ZPAP) and was a member of the Association of Polish Marine Artists (since 1968). He was awarded the Minister of Foreign Trade’s Prize for his maritime art in 1974. He practiced printmaking (metal techniques, primarily drypoint) and painting.
